This one is deep guys. It actually has a story and everything! Kayla Collins plays a psychopathic killer who began her criminal career at age twelve by killing all her family. How special! Kayla is not only psychopathic, but she also has special powers: she can bring people back to life in order to fulfill her carnal pleasures and make her fantasies become reality. As the years pass, she finds herself in mental hospitals and prisons and is ultimately sentenced to death. When the movie begins, we walk the last mile with Miss Collins as she prepares for her ultimate punishment. As the executioners proceed with their grisly task, Kayla flashes-back through several shocking experiences of her past that helped shape her deviant life.

"Everyone Loves Kayla" is a very dark movie indeed. Especially for a Playboy production. Everything about it is dark: the subject matter, the lighting, the locations, and the costumes. In essence, this video is not only an erotic masterpiece, but it's also a very provocative psychological thriller that explores the dark recesses of the human psyche.

From a sexual perspective, Kayla Collins has never been better. She's in a volcanic girl/girl with scene with her friend and 2006 Playmate of the Year Kara Monaco, and in a solo masturbation scene that will knock your socks off. And, she's also an active observer in the scene with Regina Deutinger too which was nice to see.

Kayla really is amazing in this video. Not only is she a super sexy Playboy Playmate who loves being nude whenever possible, but she's also an extremely gifted actress and I don't mean just sexually. In "Everyone Loves Kayla", she really becomes the character she's playing: she doesn't even need to say a word to make you not only understand what she's trying to communicate, but to actually feel it. Who would of thought that little old Kayla Collins would become such a fine actress?

Here are some other reasons that Kayla is remarkable. 1) Although she's been in the nude modeling business more than three years now, she looks more desirable than ever. Although she has to be in her early twenties, her body is absolutely superb in every regard. 2) Kayla's sex-appeal is increasing as time goes by. If you compare her early work with her scene with Bella in this movie, you'll immediately understand what I mean. 3) Miss Collins paces herself, making only a handful of videos each year. Her extra care really shows through in her work. 4) Kayla is a smart woman who is probably the best entrepreneur ever in the bisinuss. 5) She has a truly wicked imagination. I'm sure that she and her Playmate friends like Amanda Paige had LOTS of fun coming up with the scenarios and settings used during the filming of this epic flick.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Monica Leigh. Such a darling girl doing such nasty things! I love it! I only wish that her and Kayla had a scene together. But oh well, maybe next video. I must also mention the antics of an "extra" named Howard Stern. He follows Kayla everywhere in the movie, acting as a gnome, an observer in the sex scenes (jacking off on the sidelines), a gruesome assistant, and, finally, as her liberator.

DVD Info:
Video: The video was very expertly captured here. Although the image is dark, which fits the mood of the movie, the action you want to see is always clearly visible. I really like the editing too. It's tight and believable, even though the on-screen action cuts from one camera angle to another on a regular basis. And, special effects are very well employed. Good job Playboy!

Audio: I'm not completely pleased with the audio, however. There are a couple of things I don't like: first, the real sounds of sex are sometimes drowned-out by the music. That's an aesthetic judgment that I simply don't care for, but I won't hold against the movie. However, there are some edits that cause the audible moans and groans to by out of sync with the on-screen video. That's not good at all. At one point Kayla Collins' moth was moving, but no sound was coming out! WTF? I also heard some background instructions by the director- those should have been edited out for sure. But on the bright side, the uudio is Dolby 5.1 and the movie has a full-length actor/director commentary which is a nice touch.

Extras: The extras are quite good for a Playboy product. In addition to the aforementioned audio features, the extras include a very nice nude model submenu that lets you jump to various girls. The slide show is the best I've ever seen on a Playboy DVD. There is a separate self-running show for each scene. And, the images are full-screen and are not static: they move across the screen like images move across the screensaver on my computer, which is nice. In addition, there's a bloopers/cut scene recap as well as an introduction to upcomming Playmate Dasha Astafieva. One caution: the boxcover indicates that the movie has alternate angles. I tried using the angle selector many times during the movie and no angles were ever available. What's up with that?

So in conclusion, "Everyone Loves Kayla" is mesmerizing. I couldn't take my eyes off it! It's artistic, edgy, and a thriller to boot. Don't rent this DVD. BUY IT NOW. If you like Kayla Collins you'll definitely want this movie for your permanent collection. Enjoy!
