Blonde, blue-eyed and gutsy Kayla, who just turned 23, has come a long way in the past two years- 2,800 miles, to be exact. This being the distance from Fort Myers, Florida, to Los Angeles, California. Which is where Kayla is diligently pursuing a dual career in nude modeling and acting. "I think I've grown up a lot in the past year," she says. "For one thing, I've learned that there's a lot more to life than just being cute. I have to be sexy too and sometimes that's not as easy as it may seem."

Our Miss Collins was one of nine children, an example she doesn't plan to follow. "I believe families should be three or four children at most," she says. For herself, being part of such a crowd gave her more freedom than most young girls enjoy: "Nobody was paying much attention to what I did." What she did, finally, was take off to L.A. at the age of 18 with her friend Spencer Scott nude and a photographer they'd met through a modeling agency in Florida. "He told us that Los Angeles was a good place for us to get into movies and modeling," Miss Collins explains. "So we went with him, landed at LAX and bought an old car right away." The three of them naturally shared an apartment together and eventually became lovers.

Kayla Collins is quite pleased with the career strides she's made in the city of angels. Among her credits are: the cover of Playboy's German edition; publicity work for Pioneer stereos; an episode of the TV series "Dark Justice"; a video with Ida Ljungqvist; and several commercials for Spanish television- notably, a popular one for Sanyo VCRs, for which she spent ten and a half hours being made up to look like a robot. But Kayla's not staying in la-la land forever; she plans to return to the Florida some day to settle down and raise a family.

Hi guys. Kayla here. I just want to tell you how very proud and excited I am to be a member of the Playboy family. I want to represent women in a very positive way just as they has been doing for so long now. I come from a very close family, and everyone has been totally supportive of me being a nude model. My childhood was filled with swimming, boating, camping, cheerleading and dance classes, and of course, lots of sex with the neighbor girls. Our neighborhood a sexual playgound, I must say! I had a total blast shooting my centerfold pictorial. They spread my shoot out over several days, so it was a lot of work, but lots of fun too. My favorite shots were the bathroom scene because I got to play with myself in the shower. Who wouldn't love that? The scene where I'm riding a horse started out as a joke, but they liked it so much that Hef ended up using the shots anyways. I just love my centerfold and the wonderful clothes I got to wear and remove! Being Kayla Collins totally rules!

I've got to tell you about my most amazing sexual encounter that I've had since becoming a Playmate. I was told one day to show up at a special "celebrity shoot" at The Mansion. I was expecting some old guy like Burt Reynolds or something, but instead, it was Destiny Davis! I couldn't believe my eyes. The shoot went really well. The entire time there was a sexual tension building between us. Then, at the wrap party she came up to me and said, "Kayla, you little minx, you've got me so horned-up. I've got to have you right now!" She took my hand and led me into a back VIP room and we started kissing. She slowly worked herself down to my kitty and before I knew it, she was licking my pussy!
