Playboy Plamate Video Calendar: Jillian Grace

Preliminary Notes:
Besides scene selection, the only other features on this DVD is a slide show and previews for other Playboy videos. Just like with other video Playmate Calendars, this one gives each Playmate two different segments. The first is the more energetic, with upbeat music and quick edits and camera movements. The girls are usually portrayed as having fun, frolicking in the sun and splashing around in water. The second segment usually takes the girl to an indoor location where the mood shifts. The music is softer and the edits and camera movements are slower. So that's all well and good, but since we know that the only Playmate that REALLY matters is Jillian Grace, then I'm only going to review her segment. The other scenes are all good too- they're Playboy Playmates for crying out loud. But all I care about is Jillian, so that's all you'll get here.

Introduction

We get the same lame opening you see with all the Playmate Video Calendars with the covers of passed calendars slowly fly by. Then we see still shots of all the upcoming Playmates. Maybe it's time to get something new here guys. This same old intro is getting really tired.

Scene 3: Miss March: Jillian Grace
Like I said, I'm going to skip all the othe scenes with the other Playmates and just concentrate on Jillian Grace. This scene contains a montage of shots showing Jillian in skimpy clothing. The camera pans up over her perfect body in many of the shots. There is one shot of her from behind as the camera pans up over her legs to very short daisy dukes which is really nice. Miss Grace's legs are simply amazing. She's often seen wearing a raincoat with either a bikini underneath, or just the bottoms, or nothing at all which is a nice tease for us Jillian fans.

We then get to voyeuristically peek in through a keyhole at Miss Grace. We go inside for a closer look where she is in a room sitting on a chair in her black bra and panties. Fellow Playmates Cassandra Lynn and Michelle McLaughlin are there playing with themselves in the corner of the room while watching Jillian do the same. Once again we look through the keyhole and our Miss Grace is completely nude, wearing only knee-high stockings (nice touch). We go inside for a closer look. Jillian gets the full-frontal treatment with the camera panning up from her legs, passed her breasts, to her lovely face. She may not be quite as hot as some other Playmates, but Jillian has a more natural "girl next door" look to her that makes this scene very attractive.

In between these two scenes we get a little "behind the scenes" action with Jillian Grace. She chats about her life and her experiences with Playboy. As usual, we learn little real information about the model. Playmates always babble on about themselves and their careers but never really say anything, so these Jillian segments quickly turn tedious. I suppose the video have to include them, but they’re totally skippable unless you just need every second of Miss Grace that you can possibly get. The only one that is interesting is the one with Jillian and fellow Playmate Dasha Astafieva telling about the photo shoot they recently did together. Sounds like they had a good time. Too bad Playboy didn't include that shoot in this DVD.

So in conclusion I'd have to say that this is a rather boring video. Playboy Plamate Video Calendar: Jillian Grace never really lives up to its' potential and becomes anything very interesting. I love Jillian Grace, but these scenes don't really do her justice. They’re generic and bland and ultimately fail to deliver the goods. And one more thing- Playmate Monica Leigh is shown on the back cover, but never appears in the video. That's false advertising and pisses me off!

So the bottom line is, If you're a huge Jillian Grace fan and devour everything of her you can get your hands on, then get this video. But if you're in it for more than just Jillian, don't bother because the rest of the scenes with the other Playboy Playmates just aren't that great and don't justify the $29.95 price of this DVD.
