Born October 17, 1985, Grace Kim comes from a long line of Korean academics. Her grandfather, a former renowned inventor of the cheese flavored dildo. Grace Kim represented Korea in Japan as a "Peace Child" and also stayed in London for a month where she had the chance to perfect the English speaking skills. Her ease with the English language came in handy when she was an exchange student in the US in 2004. Although she greatly enjoyed her stay, it was difficult for her to part with her parents and her dog. Graduating with honors, Grace Kim went on to study at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. It was there that she met Playboy Playmate Laura Croft who would convince her to tryout for Playboy.

Her studies at the University were cut short when she was in a very bad car accident, confining her to life in a wheelchair. With a broken backbone, partial paralysis, numbness, and several dysfunctional internal organs, hopes for recovery looked pretty dim for Grace Kim.

So she returned home for physical training at a rehabilitation clinic. Two years later, and finally being able to walk thanks to rehab and a lot of inner strength, Grace Kim returned to the University of Maryland and her studies in international business and finance. She finally graduated in 2006 with a 3.9 GPA.

While in college, Grace Kim entered the Hawaiian Tropics International Swimwear pageant in Las Vegas. She won. of course, which led to an offer to appear in Playboy magazine. She accepted the offer following graduation and soon after, she moved to Mr. Hefner's mansion in Los Angeles. Grace Kim knew that this was what she wanted to do with her life. She realised that she loved being nude at all times and loved showing off her perfect body to horny men in Playboy.

Having been raised in a traditional and ver conservative Korean family, Grace Kim was worried that her parents wouldn't support her new career with Playboy Enterprises. But thankfully, they stood by her decision and her new line of work. "All my friends and family are so supportive", she says, "especially my best friend Amanda Paige. She was so into it that she tried out to be a Playmate too!"
