DVD REVIEWED: "Giuliana Marino: Italian Sex Kitten"

The boxcover of this DVD enticed me when I first saw it. It shows the beautiful Giuliana Marino lying naked on a bed while surrounded by several other Playboy Playmates (including my personal fave, Jordan Monroe). So naturally, I figured this scene would be in the video. But to my major dissapointment, it is not. Granted, you get tons of Miss Marino looking mighty fine indeed, but where's Giuliana? Where are all the other Playmates on the box cover? It's all just Giuliana Marino! Don't get me wrong, I love giulian, but if you show other hotties on the cover, then they should actually be in the video damn it! False advertising pisses me off.

When I saw Giuliana Marino in the 2006 Video Playmate Calendar I was awe struck. I went back and made a careful study of her Playmate appearance in an attempt to figure out why she didn't stick in my mind as most of my favorites do upon first sight. Maybe Playboy had her a little too dolled-up, which I don't like. Anyways, the shots of Giuliana Marino in the video, both in and out of her bikini, are truly inspirational. She's a great classic Italian brunette with a tanned, toned body and a very pretty cheerleader-like face that you'd love to blast a hot load on. After much research I've now concluded that Giuliana is the best Playboy Playmate ever.

During the main program’s 35 minutes, we see Miss Marino in a mix of sexy settings. The set-ups will seem familiar to fans of Playboy videos, as we’ve seen plenty of similar stuff in the past. Nothing new here, but it's really doesn't matter as we're all here to see Giuliana Marino, not the sets. There are five scenes that form the majority of the video. In the first scene, Giuliana bounces around a football stadium to a horrible soft rock song and then she poses in an artist loft. In one fantasy sequence, she grabs a cameraphone and takes nude shots of herself while fellow Playmate Kayla Collins watches and diddles herself. This is fairly hot, but I would have liked to have seen Kayla go down on Giuliana, but it didn't happen. In the next scene, "movie-star" Giuliana Marino escapes the paparazzi and then poses on a rooftop fully nude. Now that's more like it- let's get them clothes off Giuliana!

Probably the best scene in the whole video is next as we get Giuliana and Dasha Astafieva in the same bed together. Giuliana is looking amazing as she does a slow, sexy striptease for Valerie who is totally naked and playing with herself. Then Miss Marino takes out her favorite dildo and works the other Playmate over until she has a screaming orgasm. They then take turns licking each other's beautiful breasts and clean-shaven pussies. The chemistry between them is quite good as they really seem to be having fun. Giuliana is especially into it as she seems to have multiple orgasms throughout the scene. If you're a big Giuliana Marino fan, then this alone will be worth the price of this DVD for you.

In between these sex scenes are little vignettes about Giuliana Marino herself. She chats it up about her life, her personality and all the wild sex she's had with other Playboy Playmates. You'd think that would be interesting to hear about, but Giuliana doesn't know how to tell a story to save her life so these "flashbacks" are actually pretty boring. As usual, we learn little about the model herself. It seems like Playboy Playmates always talk in generic tones about themselves and their careers, so these segments quickly turn tedious. I suppose the DVD has to include them, but they’re totally skippable. This video makes me long for girls like Jillian Grace who know how to tell a good lesbo sex story!

This leaves "Giuliana Marino: Italian Sex Kitten" as a pretty decent DVD overall. I may not be voting for Giuliana as Playmate of the Year, but she still is one of the better centerfolds to come out this year so far. Her natural beauty is undeniable, but she does seem to lack personality. Maybe it's her thick Italian accent, or maybe she's just stupid. All I know is that as soon as Giuliana Marino opens her mouth, you want her to shut it. She simply lacks presence in front of the camera, and the director fails to do anything to spice up the proceedings even when Giuliana and fellow Playboy Playmate Juliette Frette are in the same scene. How is that even possible? I don't know, but he managed to do it somehow. Whether that's his fault or Giuliana's, I don't know either. All I do know is that Miss Marino looks fantastic throughout this video. It would have been much better if she had done a lezbo scene. But you can't have everything I guess. But overall, this is a solid video release that I would recommend to any fan of Giuliana Marino.
