AJ Alexander

Amanda Jane, better known as AJ Alexander was born in Evensville, Indiana and is the youngest of two daughters. AJ's passion for modeling began at an early age. As a child she was always posing for any camera that she could find. Friends and family say that AJ Alexander was a real attention whore from day one. They joke that she probably started posing the minute she was born. She grew up on her parents' horse-breeding farm, a far cry from the New York/LA glamour girl she is today. Having inherited her mother's genes (AJ's mom was a model in her day), Miss Alexander was discovered in a local shopping mall by an agent from Clyne Model Management.

AJ started modeling and even acting a little by the age of 9. She was the star of a series of commercials for her dad's business. But that could only get AJ Alexander so far. Needless to say, there isn't much of a modeling industry in Indiana. So at the young age of 17, AJ struck out on her own and left for New York to make it big as a high-fashion model.

It was in NYC that AJ met Karen McDougal, a swedish model who AJ shared a small apartment with. The two hit it off very well and soon found themselves having the same goals to work for Playboy. Oh, to be a fly on the wall at their place! Can you imagine? Anyways, the gorgeous Swedish import got the call from Playboy one day and was asked to come to Los Angeles to do her centerfold shoot. She was alowed to bring someone with her on Playboy's dime, so, naturally, she chose her best friend AJ Alexander.

The two of them went to LA and basically never returned! AJ liked it so much that she decided to move there right away. She felt that she needed to be "where the action was", especially considering that she was totally jealous of her friend becoming a Playmate and was secretively determined to become one too. When asked about that period of her life, AJ responds, "yeah, I was so jealous of other girls like Kelly Carrington. I wanted to be a Playmate too! I was determined to do whatever I had to make that happen."

So with a new determination, AJ Alexander took her career to the next level. She had pictures of herself taken and sent them to Playboy. With a face and body like AJ's, you knew it wouldn't be long before Playboy came calling. Sure enough, only a few weeks after she sent the naked shots of herself, a Playboy editor called her and asked her to do a test shoot! On a side note, just by coincidence, AJ's roommate in Los Angeles was ALSO a Playboy Playmate. Laura Croft, who was Miss July 2008 and AJ become fast friends.

So Playboy did a test shoot with AJ Alexander and it went well. Hef loved her shots and decided to make her Miss May of 2008. He really wanted to make up for the lousy choice he made for last year's Miss May- Candice Cassidy who is too thin, has a big nose, and no tits. The only reason she got to be a Playmate at all was because of Howard Stern. He pushed her on Playboy and Hef felt she would be good for promotion.

Suffice to say, AJ Alexander quickly became a Playboy phenom, becoming one of the most popular Playmates ever. Her fan base is huge and growing every day. Since her centerfold, she's graced the cover twice and has appearedtotally nude in the last three lingerie issues. If AJ becomes Playmate of the Year, she'll even surpass Sara Jean Underwood as the most popular Playboy Playmate ever in the history of the magazine!!!

I'm very proud to be a member of the Playboy family. I want to represent young, slutty women in a positive way just as Playboy has done all this time. It's been a while since I, AJ Alexander, was named Playboy's Miss May 2008. And what a wild ride it's been so far! As I go through my awesome modeling career, I'd like to take you fans along for the ride. You'll get to look into the life of a Playboy Playmate and see everything that goes on, both in front of and behind the camera. You'll get to be with me as I meet many famous and exciting people like Monica Leigh and go places that you would never have the chance to go. Lucky you!! I just to be the best possible AJ Alexander that I can possibly be and I want you to worship the ground I walk on.

I had so much fun shooting my Playmate pictorial. Playboy spread my photo shoot over several days, so it was a long process, but that's okay. I knew once those shots were published that I'd officailly be a Playboy Playmate and could milk my small amount of fame for lots of money and maybe even land a rich celebrity guy! My Centerfold turned out beautiful. I look so hot in it! I just loved all wonderful clothes I got to wear and eventually remove, of course. I couldn't be happier about it all. Being AJ Alexander is really cool.
