The rumor around here is that a little filly from Austin, Texas named Valerie Mason will be Miss September of this year. She was one of the young models that did her test shoot on The Girls Next Door. Valerie was the cute little brunette that Holly said had to back-off the tanning and remove her blue contacts! lol. The competition was tight, but Athena’s stunning blue eyes and disarming smile blew the judges away. Although she is clearly a wonder of womanhood, Miss December 2006, Kia Drayton knows how to get in touch with her masculine side. “I’m a total tomboy who grew up mostly with boys,” she says. “I have tons of guy friends because I love sports and manly things like cars and motorcycles.” But don’t worry guys, when Kia isn’t doing manly things, she’s all woman. Cassandra Lynn started out going to beauty school. But before her career could get rolling she started getting noticed for her own looks. Now, as Playboy’s Miss February 2006, her career is really starting to pick up. Besides Playboy stuff, Cassandra is building a thiving modeling career and working as a Miller girl. “I go to different bars and try to convince people to switch to Miller Lite,” she says. “I do taste challenges, and my beer usually wins.”

Miss March 2005, Jillian Grace, knows a lot about bodies. She’s a certified personal trainer, a career that has definitely influenced her views. “A big muscular back is my favorite part of a man’s body,” she says. “But looks aren’t really important. Attraction is more about having fun with a guy, and kissing is a big part of having fun. That’s going pretty far on a first date, though. I still have small-town-girl values, I guess.”

Miss July 2005, Qiana Chase has a leg up on her rivals. At five-nine, the statuesque native of L.A. learned early on that if she took care of her gams, they’d take care of her. “I’ve always liked my legs,” she says. “One guy told me, ‘Oh my God, your legs. They just go from here to heaven.’ Are they that long? I don’t know. Maybe I can’t tell because I’m looking at them from this angle.”
26-year-old Florida native Tiffany Selby has been a busy bunny since being Miss July 2007. “I’ve been going from city to city attending Playboy events and a lot of club appearances,” Tiffany says. She has also worked for the SEMA car show convention in Las Vegas and is now a spokesmodel for Budweiser.

Sarah Elizabeth moved to Panama City, Florida three years ago. “I came here because I wanted a more laid-back vibe,” she tells us. “The sign on the highway into town reads, “the world’s most beautiful beach”, and it is. The sand is white like sugar. The water is emerald green and blue, and when you’re in a boat, you can see dolphins swimming underneath you. It’s paradise.” In some respects, Sarah Elizabeth is a perfect tomboy. She considers deep-sea fishing one of her passions. “I’ve never caught anything big, like a marlin, but I’ve reeled in lots of grouper,” she says. “People don’t want to take me fishing though, because I like to catch and release.”

After Las Vegas native Destiny Davis won first place in a local bikini contest, a friend took some pictures of her and sent them off to Playboy. It wasn’t long before they were calling offering her a test shoot. Destiny’s blend of Irish, Swedish, English and Syrian features wowed them, and her distinctive name sealed the deal. Soon she was Miss January 2005. “I don’t know what my mom was thinking when she named me,” Destiny says. “People ask, ‘Is that a stage name or what’, but it’s my real name believe it or not!”

Playboy’s Miss June of 2007 was the absolutely adorable Brittany Binger. This California transplant has a heart of gold to go with her sun-kissed skin. In addition to shooting a Special Editions cover, and appearing in The Girls Next Door, Brittany has been focusing on charity work. She sells her headshots on her MySpace page and gives all the proceeds to a charity called School of Hope. “Giving makes me feel so good,” she says.
