Tamara Sky has been called the world’s hottest DJ and “the turntable goddess,” but we like to think of her as Playboy’s Miss August. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, the 22-year-old bronze beauty moved to Miami three years ago and discovered the city’s sizzling nightclub scene. Listening to those thumping beats, she came down with a case of spin fever. Tamara practiced up to five hours a day for a month before landing her first DJ gig. Miss Sky has since deejayed in Europe, Central America and throughout the U.S. She’s always on the move, so much so that she doesn’t know where home is anymore. “Coming up this year,” Tamara says, “I have Dubai, Ibiza, France and South Africa on the agenda.”

2007’s Playmate for March was the lovely Tyran Richard. She’s a hard-rocking Southern belle from Baton Rouge, Louisiana whose into bands like Aerosmith, Buckcherry and Motley Crue. “I need something with an edge,” she says. But don’t take Miss Richard lightly. Tyran has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and wants to be a judge or lawyer some day. Something tells us that her appearence in Playboy might throw a monkey wrench into her plans of being a judge, but we wish her well none the less.

I suppose I got my cheekbones from my Cherokee grandfather; the Irish side of the family must be responsible for my pert little nose,” she says. When asked if a woman can be both wholesome and sexy at the same time Karen responds, “Definitely. A woman can be whatever she wants to be. It’s all in her attitude. It seems Carmella DeCesare took her share of knocks in high school. “I was the girl everybody liked to tease,” she confesses. “I wanted to be friends with everyone and have a good time, but it just didn’t work out that way. I had three good girlfriends in high school and they stuck by me. Kids at that age are horrible and look for someone to pick on, and I guess I was it. I hadn’t grown up yet- I had big red-frame glasses and no style. AJ Alexander is trained as a dental assistant, but shifted into modeling and acting a few years ago. After several appearances in Playboy Special Editions she won a role in the comedy “American Summer”.
